I am drawn to the act of "movement." The flowing scenery, the difference in the atmosphere of each place. Landing in a new place and interpreting what has accumulated there. It is perhaps similar to the feeling of reading a story. I create artworks based on this desire to move and the "physical experience" that can only be had there. Coming into contact with a place, opening my senses there, and creating a landscape. For me, this act itself is both a creative endeavor and a journey.
