Hiroshi Miyazaki（Japan）

I am drawn to the act of "movement." The flowing scenery, the difference in the atmosphere of each place. Landing in a new place and interpreting what has accumulated there. It is perhaps similar to the feeling of reading a story. I create artworks based on this desire to move and the "physical experience" that can only be had there. Coming into contact with a place, opening my senses there, and creating a landscape. For me, this act itself is both a creative endeavor and a journey.

Originally from Osaka Prefecture, currently living in Shiga Prefecture. Artist/Educator (Learning Creator)

Experiences the world through art, education, academia, childcare, travel, outdoor sports, and more.

After working as an elementary school teacher, he currently teaches at an online free school.

He is also preparing to launch an art school called "Azuchi Art Studio."
